San Diego Contractors Get Solar Power Initiative

September 2, 2010 – Recently the California Public Utilities Commission approved a San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) initiative to provide 100 megawatts of solar generated energy to the San Diego area. The initiative not only means subsidy for green energy, but eventual contracts for the likes of San Diego general contractors and Del Mar general contractors.

Currently the region only delivers 80 megawatts of solar generated energy to the grid.
