August 2, 2010 – The several thousand acre wind farm project known as The Lake Winds Energy Park is on course to begin construction in 2012 of more than 50 wind turbines in Mason County, Michigan. The green energy project will likely mean nearly one-hundred construction jobs for Lansing contractors and Mason builders.
The project will be headed up by Vestas-Americas Wind Technology and Consumers Energy.
